THE COMING BAPTISM WITH FIRE IS HERE

The Coming Baptism of Fire in The Earth

Zep 3:8 Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my jealousy, Zep 3:9  For then will I turn to the people a pure language, that they may all call upon the name of the LORD, to serve him with one consent.
Zep 3:10  From beyond the rivers of Ethiopia my worshipers, even the daughter of my dispersed, shall bring mine offering. .

Luk 12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished! 51 Suppose ye that I am come to give peace on earth? I tell you, Nay; but rather division:

     When God shows up in all of his glory there is no precedent of what Africa will experience of His presence and His power.  But there’s also no precedent for what will be experienced of his judgment and his indignation when the fire of His jealousy is released against sin in Africa and the nations.  When God shows up to dwell amongst his people, what happened in the early church with Ananias and Sapphire will be magnified and multiplied many times over.  The greatness and the awesomeness of this day together with the terribleness and dread of this day is a scenario that we must equally prepare and position ourselves for in the coming days.

     Act 2:17  And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams: 18 And on my servants and on my handmaidens I will pour out in those days of my Spirit; and they shall prophesy:

     There are several unbalanced tendencies that most of the body of Christ ends up in when we read about and begin desiring the glory of God, revival in our day as it was in former days.  One of them is, we often quote Acts 2:17 without finishing the quote with Acts 2:22

     Most preachers when preaching from this verse, stop right there and preach on revival coming in the last days when the Holy Spirit is poured out on all flesh.  However, the scripture verses that Peter is quoting from in Joel 2 go on to say;

19  And I will shew wonders in heaven above, and signs in the earth beneath; blood, and fire, and vapor of smoke: 20 The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before that great and notable day of the Lord come: 21 And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the Lord shall be saved.

   The revival described here is describing a return to the Lord of God’s chosen people, the Jews, and of all the children of God that have been scattered from the nations of the earth.  As the Lord releases his Spirit of mercy and judgment in the earth through the increase of the prophetic gifts there’s going to be unprecedented power released, as well as unprecedented darkness, sin and Judgment in the earth.

   It is at this time and in this context that God is going to pour His spirit out on His chosen people, Israel, that they may see Yeshua as their Messiah.  Before this happens there will be a shaking of the nation of Israel of the Jews in their promised-land.  This shaking time of Judgment is called in scripture, the time of Jacobs trouble (Jeremiah 30:6).  The sign of the coming of this shaking listed in Acts 2:20 will be the sun turned to darkness – A solar eclipse, and the Moon turned to blood – A Lunar eclipse.  These two occurrences are both scheduled to happen in 2014-15 during four successive Jewish Holidays of Feast of Passover and Feast of Tabernacles.  Consequently, His chosen people in the land, both Jews and Christians will be scattered from the land once again and driven to the nations of the world.  Where will the majority of them go?  I believe many of them will end up on the continent of Africa.  This persecution and tribulation are what will cause His people to look to Him, again, eventually saying, “Blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord.

O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, thou that kills the prophets, and stones them which are sent unto thee, how often would I have gathered thy children together, even as a hen gathers her chickens under her wings, and ye would not! 38 Behold, your house is left unto you desolate. 39 For I say unto you, Ye shall not see me henceforth, till ye shall say, “Blessed is he that comes in the name of the Lord.”

     This is what Joel 2:28, Acts 2:17 is speaking of – shaking of the nation’s towards the return of the Jewish Messiah back to His people and back to the land.

But most Christians don’t associate God’spresence coming with power and darkness, tribulation and signs in the heavens and the earth.  They just associate this release of God’s spirit and presence with the power seen on the day of Pentecost.  And while there was a partial fulfillment of this prophecy.  Most Christians don’t associate His presence coming with life and death, just life.  But the coming baptism of fire is a baptism of the fiery presence of God to purge and purify the earth, and to bring everlasting righteousness to the earth.  Luke 12:49 says it like this;

    Luk 12:49 I am come to send fire on the earth; and what will I, if it be already kindled? 50 But I have a baptism to be baptized with; and how am I straitened till it be accomplished!

John the Baptist says it like this;

Luk 3:16  John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: 17 Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.

     The winnowing fork in the hand of the Lord is the instrument of sifting and separating the wheat and tares by the hand of the Lord.  This is what the baptism of Fire releases.  This is what the Baptism of Fire is unto, the fiery presence and judgment of God to clear his threshing floor and gather his wheat into his barn, but the chaff he will burn with unquenchable fire.  This separating of the wheat and tares is explained by Jesus in His parable in Matthew 13.

      Mat 13:24 Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, “The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field:

25 But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

26 But when the blade was sprung up, and brought forth fruit, then appeared the tares also.

27 So the servant’s of the householder came and said unto him, Sir, didst not thou sow good seed in thy field? from whence then hath it tares?

28 He said unto them, an enemy hath done this. So, the servants said unto him, then do you want us to go and gather them up? But he said, “No, lest in gathering the weeds you root up the wheat along with them. 30 Let both grow together until the harvest, and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, Gather the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”

    Jesus gives the explanation of this parable to His disciples as they left the crowds and returned to their lodging for the night.

    Mat 13:36 Then Jesus sent the multitude away and went into the house: and his disciples came unto him, saying, Declare unto us the parable of the tares of the field. 37 He answered and said unto them, He that soweth the good seed is the Son of man;

38 The field is the world; the good seed are the children of the kingdom; but the tares are the children of the wicked one; 39 The enemy that sowed them is the devil; the harvest is the end of the world; and the reapers are the angels.

40 Just as the weeds are gathered and burned with fire, so will it be at the end of the age.  41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather out of his kingdom all causes of sin and all law breakers, 42 and throw them into the fiery furnace. In that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth.

    Jesus was explaining, not only the process of how the wheat and tares grow together until the end of the age, but how the wheat and tares would be separated by the fiery presence of the baptism of fire, purging His threshing floor and bringing His wheat into the barn.

     This baptism with fire is another baptism, which is a part of the Holy Ghost baptism, but is a distinct and separate baptism with distinct differences in its application and its characteristics, just like in the Godhead, the Father, Son and Holy Ghost are one, with distinct and separate characteristics and manifestations.  The Baptism with fire is a baptism of manifestation and fulfillment of the word of God that has been sown with the baptism with water unto repentance, and the baptism with the Holy Ghost.

The Water Baptism – Baptizing the Earth with the Word of God

   John’s water baptism represents the baptism with the word of God, or the submerging in the water of the word of God.  Water in scripture represents the word of God.

  Eph 5:26 That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word…

   When we are baptized in water, it’s because the word of God has convicted our hearts and brought us to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ.  This is how man repents and turns to Jesus – by the word of God that we are washed with – by the forerunners that God puts in our lives to feed us the word of God.  Once we get that word in us we can turn or repent, coming back to Jesus.  This is the goal of true repentance – Jesus – not just the forgiveness of sins.

     Act 3:19  Repent ye therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 20  And he shall send Christ, appointed for you, Jesus

     When Jesus comes, He shall baptize with the Holy Ghost and with Fire…but he who is mightier than I is coming, the strap of whose sandals I am not worthy to untie.  He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with Fire (Luk 3:16).

      Again, I must reiterate that these are three distinct baptisms – the Word, the Spirit, and the Fire Baptism, that are representative of the one Spirit.  It’s like the godhead – One God in three manifestations, or personifications.  So, it is with the spirits designations, functions and applications.  There are three separate administrations of the Spirits baptism, beginning with the water of the word of God, which is spirit of life.  John 6:63 says, it is the Spirit who gives life; the flesh is no help at allThe words that I have spoken to you are spirit and life.  Going on to the Holy Ghost baptism, which is the baptism that releases the spirits revelation and mysteries of the words of Christ, and then to the fire baptism, which releases the manifestation and presence of the words of Christ, or word of God.

     Joh 1:1  In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. Joh 1:14  And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth

     The fire baptism is the baptism that manifests and spreads the word throughout the earth. The baptism of fire that manifests and spreads the word throughout the body of the believer, and the earth is what purifies and purges the earth, or man’s selfish heart, sinful attitudes, and motives, enabling both to receive the heart of God.  This is what is coming in this millennium.

    Through the restoration of the baptism of fire and the manifestation of the heart of God in man throughout His body, were going to see the coming of the Lord and His kingdom come to the earth, as it is in heaven.  This baptism is going to bring together in the earth, God and man, causing a supernatural uniting of all races, tribes and ethnicities that will accomplish all of the will of God for the earth.  This is the revival that is coming in this century that will make this century unlike any century in human history. God has an inheritance of revival for our generation that will supersede all the previous generations combined.

The Baptism with Fire Revelation Restored

     If I were to ask what the baptism of the Holy Ghost was most people in the church would be able to tell me, even if they had differing views on its manifestations or evidences.  Most people could tell me that it involved the speaking in tongues (unknown tongue).  But if I were to ask;

   “Who can tell what the baptism in fire is?  Most people would not be able to say. This is because we have not seen the restoration of the fire baptism returned to the body.  We have thought that the Holy Ghost baptism and the fire baptism were one in the same.

Another Baptism

    Luke 3:15,16 and as the people were in expectation, and all men mused in their hearts of John, whether he were Christ, or not; John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I comes, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the HOLY GHOST  and with FIRE. (KJV)

He Shall Baptize You With….

    While the baptism with the Holy Ghost has been widely recognized and regarded as part and parcel of the Pentecostal outpour, the baptism with fire has been overlooked and lightly regarded as just a part of the baptism with the Holy Ghost.  While it is a part of the spirits work in the believer, it is also a baptism distinct and separate from the baptism with the Holy Ghost.  “He shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire.” (KJV)

The Baptism with the Holy Ghost is one function of the spirits working in the believer or in the earth, and the baptism with fire is another function of the spirits working.  The key word in this verse is “with.”  It is stated three times in this 16th verse (KJV) “He shall baptize you with….and with…and with” denoting three baptisms.

     We know from the past century’s restoration of the truth of the baptism with the Holy Ghost, that the Holy Ghost deals with leading the believer into all truth, which is Jesus.  (John 16:13) Howbeit when He, the spirit of truth, is come he will guide you into all truth.

    What then is it that the baptism with fire deals with?  What is the function of the baptism with fire? What are the major attributes of the baptism with fire? Why have we not seen more of the baptism fire, with its evidences and manifestations in the life of the believer in the modern church?  Why have we not made a smoother transition from the baptism with the Holy Ghost to the baptism with fire before now?

These are some of the questions this book will begin to reveal for this century’s believers to come to know and receive.   This is the next revival that is coming in the earth through the church.

The Purpose of the Baptism with Fire

     Acts 1:4 and being assembled together with them, commanded them that they should not depart from Jerusalem, but wait for the promise of the father, which saith he, ye have heard of me.  5. For John truly baptized with water; but ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost not many days hence.

    When you’ve gone through a period of waiting on the Lord for the promise of the father which he said, then you shall be baptized with water, the spirit and the fire for the promise to come through you to you.  God is releasing the fulfillment of the promise of the father into the earth through the church, the promise of the baptism with fire.  This promise will first manifest itself through you with power, signs, wonders and fruitfulness and multiplication of the nature and purposes of God.  As a result of this season of birthing and the subsequent release of the promise of the fire baptism, we will see an increase and multiplication of the nature of God (love) in the earth, the people of God, and the works of God.  The spirit of prayer will increase in the earth, and the spirit of covenant and reconciliation will increase in the earth, the works of God will increase in the earth.  There will be a proliferation of houses of prayer being raised up all over the earth.  There will be the release of the true expression and purpose of the house of God; "My house shall be called the house of prayer." (Matt 21:13

    Acts 1:7 and he said unto them, it is not for you to know the times and seasons, which the father has put in his own power.  8. But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem and in all Judea, and in Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth.

    The promise of the father which he said unto you is manifested by the power of the spirit that he releases through you to be a witness of his death, burial and resurrection in the earth, when you wait on him to receive the water, spirit, and fire.

Why didn’t Jesus finish John’s statement in Act 1:5 that ye shall be baptized with the Holy Ghost and fire?  He stopped short of saying ye shall be baptized with fire as is recorded in Matt 3:11, and Luke 3:16.  Why is that?

I believe it was because the main function in the earth at that time was going to be the release of the baptism with the Holy Ghost for them to be witnesses in the entire world, but the fire baptism would be released at the end of the age…at another separate and distinct time, to fulfill verse 6.  The question they asked him, Lord will thou at this time restore again the kingdom to Israel?  The Holy Ghost baptism is for the power to be a witness to the uttermost parts of the earth of what’s coming in the fire baptism when Jesus’ coming is consummated.

    The fire baptism is for the power to restore the kingdom to Israel in the end, at Jesus’ second coming.  It is a part of the fiery judgment and tribulation of the world at the coming of the Day of the Lord at the end of the age.  The fire baptism is for the bringing back of the kingdom of God to the earth in Jerusalem, for the King Jesus being enthroned as King of kings and Lord of Lords, and for the Jews to return to Jesus as their messiah.

    The Baptism with Fire is a baptism that releases the presence of God’s Judgment on the earth to divide and separate evil from righteousness, the holy from the unholy. Jesus further explains this characteristic of this baptism with Fire in Luke 12:51
