THE UNDERSTANDING HEART – DISCERNING THE SEASONS AND TIMES-
I Chronicles 12:32 And the children of Issachar, which were men that had understanding of the times,to know
what Israel ought to do.
Proverbs 8:5 O ye simple, understand wisdom: and ye fools, be ye of an understanding heart.
God’s Understanding Heart is based on God’s wisdom and God’s knowledge of all things. He knows all things.
He knows the beginning from the end. Therefore he acts based on that knowledge and understanding that is within His heart.
When we obtain an understanding heart we will operate in the wisdom of God. The spirit of wisdom and the spirit of understanding go hand in hand with God.
...And the Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding, the spirit of counsel and might, the spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the LORD;
Isaiah 11:2 KJV
God’s wisdom comes as a result of His understanding. He understands the purpose of all things. Therefore He acts based on the wisdom that comes from this understanding, and from the realization of purpose in all relationships in heaven and in earth.
If we are to obtain an understanding heart we must behold the wisdom of God and understand God’s purpose and end for all relationships we enter into.
