Then He [thoroughly] opened up their minds to understand the Scriptures, And said to them, Thus it is written that the Christ (the Messiah) should suffer and on the third day rise from (among) the dead, [Hos. 6:2.] And that repentance [with a view to and as the condition of] forgiveness of sins should be preached in His name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem. You are witnesses of these things. And behold, I will send forth upon you what My Father has promised; but remain in the city [Jerusalem] until you are clothed with power from on high. Luke 24:44-49
HOW TO WAIT(PRAY) FOR YOUR PROMISE
1. Wait in the Word - He opened their minds to understand the scriptures
2. Wait in the Prophecies - Recall the Prophecies you've received...He fulfilled the Scriptures spoken in the Law, Psalms and the Prophets.
3. Wait in Repentance - He told them that repentance and remission must be preached in His name.
4. Wait in Proclaimation - He told them that repentance and remission must be PREACHED in His name.
5. Wait in Jerusalem - He told them not to depart from Jerusalem but to wait for the promise of the father.
6. Wait in Witnessing - He told them they would be witnesses of these things.
