Welcome to Day 22

40 Days of Blowing the Shofar

Day 22 – 40 Days of Blowing the Shofar

We're in the second day of the Rosh Hashanah celebration and the sound of the BREAKTHROUGH of shevarim, which means “broken ones” or “breakings.” This hints to the breakthrough God has for us especially during the appointed fall season of Trumpets, Yom Kippur and Sukkot.

Give Now

Hearing the sound of the second and final day of the Rosh Hashanah feast Celebration - Restoring the Splendor of Your Name

Behold, on the mountains, the feet of him who brings good news, Who announces peace! Celebrate your feasts, Judah, Pay your vows. For never again will the wicked one pass through you; He is eliminated completely.
Nahum 1:15

The one who scatters has come up against you. Man the fortress, watch the road; Strengthen your back, summon all your strength. For the Lord will restore the splendor of Jacob Like the splendor of Israel, Even though devastators...

My spirit is full of anticipation and I pray yours is as well as I send this to you!  It’s the time of the shofar blast reminding us of the beginning of God’s High Holy Days – the start of His fall feast season at sundown, awakening our souls prayerfully to deep spiritual reflection.

Day 4 – 40 Days of the Shofar - Blessed is the People that know the Joyful Sound

Day 4 – 40 Days of the Shofar

Blow the trumpet in Zion and sound the alarm. Elul is the month when we blow the trumpet. When Jesus, our Messiah returns we will hear that sound. Elul is an exciting time.
Blessed and happy are the people who know the joyful sound [of the trumpet’s blast]! They walk, O Lord, in the light and favor of Your countenance! In Your name they rejoice all the day, And in Your righteousness they are exalted. For You are the glory of their strength [their proud adornment], And by Your favor our horn is exalted. Psalms 89:15-17 AMP

Today is a day of hearing the joyful sound of the upcoming feast season as we blow the trumpets of the month of Elul for 40 days. The month of Elul and the blowing of the trumpets is a time of returning to the Lord. As we return to the Lord in preparation for the season of His return God will release the 7 blessings on us of keeping the feasts, from Psalm 89:15-18

1. The BLESSING of hearing and responding to the joyful...

Day 3 - 40 Days of Blowing the Shofar -For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, and with the trumpet of God

Day 3 – 40 Days of the Shofar

In Leviticus 23 God instructs Israel to blow the trumpet on the holiday of Rosh Hashanah, which is also called the Feast of Trumpets. Ancient tradition teaches we sound the shofar for a full forty day period beginning the 1st of the Hebrew month of Elul through the festivals of Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur. This season is known as the season of "teshuvah" which means to return.

For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 1 Thessalonians 4:16 NKJV

Today is a day of descending, as the Lord descends from heaven with a shout to gather His people unto Him to defeat the enemies of His people. Today as we shout a shout of praise the enemies of our flesh and to our destinies are being defeated

And when he had consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the Lord, and who should praise the beauty of holiness,...

WHY KEEP THE FEAST OF THE LORD - Feast of Tabernacles Oct 2-9

Acts 2:5 Now there were…in Jerusalem Jews, devout men from every nation under heaven.

Leviticus 23:4 These are the feasts of the LORD, even holy convocations, which ye shall proclaim in their seasons. 5 In the fourteenth day of the first month at even is the LORD'S Passover. 8 But ye shall offer an offering made by fire unto the LORD seven days: in the seventh day is an holy convocation: ye shall do no servile work therein.

October marks God’s third and final Feast of the year, the Feast of Tabernacles (Sukkot), which begins this evening, October 2nd.

Sukkot represents a time of the people of Israel being sheltered by the Lord in the Wilderness. A time of relying on Him for both protection and provision. The Israelites knew this and were commanded to keep this feast and to teach all generations after them to do the same.

God decreed that Sukkot is to be celebrated perpetually throughout all generations...FOREVER (Leviticus 23:41).

The Feasts of the...
